Yesterday evening
This was the scene in the Kitchen last night. My 10 year old built in oven has been a tad fragile of late and last night the door suddenly fell to the floor shattering into 1000 pieces. Luckily no one was hurt.Careful clearing up took ages. I have ordered a new oven today which will be fitted on Easter Eve. Needless to say the Ducal war chest has taken a battering !

Defense of Fangorn- a portable wargame
Ents, Elves and others defend Fangorn Forest against Orcs,wolves and troll invaders;
Casualties have been already inflicted by Elven archers and rocks thrown by Ents.
Rules used "The Portable Wargame" and Maudlin Jack's Fantasy Variant. Great gridded fun with the final assault still to play...

Worth a view-
Firstly a most enjoyable blog-
https://manoftinblog.wordpress.com/
For some inspiring modelling,wargaming and figure conversions not to mention ski troops.
Secondly I watched a really good film " Hacksaw Ridge" currently on Netflicks. Most moving ,if you haven't seen it give it a watch .

Winter in medieval Tradgardland
A ski borne scout has a nasty surprise...
Meanwhile, near the border, another scout patrols through the snow ravaged landscape on his faithful elk.
