Our smoke alarms are very sensitive, a person smoking a cigarette could set them off. With my Mother forgetting she has food on the stove, I have no plans to change them. Mother can cook toast in the toaster and have it set to darken the bread and set the alarms off. Our mains-powered fire alarms we...Tradgardmastare,<br /><br />Our mains-powered fire alarms went off last week for apparently no reason. I managed to do an Internet search and found out that the cause was either dirt or hot weather.
