I have bought lots of paints there, usually for half price or less. You can find Citadel paints, Army Painter, Vallejo, Andrea, Humbrol, Tamiya ... almost any that you want.

I don't know if it's some people who try to get back into the hobby but then, for whatever reason, give up and sell off their stuff. And there's companies there too selling at a discount.

cheers,
Tom
Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04701879871669937678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4798056059089761235.post-65827584644912761722018-06-03T13:50:48.923+01:002018-06-03T13:50:48.923+01:00The wonderful Wilko's stock a series of brilli...The wonderful Wilko's stock a series of brilliant acrylic paint in large tubes. They are £2.00 each. I use their Burnt Umber for undercoating and bases. As for my main paints. I recommend attending a few shows and sifting through the end of line paints that some dealers stock.Independentwargamesgrouphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07019172667119107650noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4798056059089761235.post-16282298480649089922018-06-03T11:48:43.664+01:002018-06-03T11:48:43.664+01:00I'm using Citadel and Vallejo (from Wayland), ...I'm using Citadel and Vallejo (from Wayland), with some craft tubes for bases and buildings. They come in sets (usually a range of colours including black, white, blue, yellow, green, and red) and the paint is in tubes ... which means there is no air gap and this helps to prevent the paint drying out. They are also relatively thick, and I find that squeezing some paint onto a plastic palette and using a wet or damp brush allows me to vary the fluidity of the paint as I apply it.

It might be worth buying a set and seeing how you get on with them.

All the best,

BobRobert (Bob) Corderyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13109130990434792266noreply@blogger.com
