I like what I see of it from the trailer, but I'm not sure if it'll air over here in the US any time soon. I'm hoping it'll be available on DVD at least.
I watched the first two episodes that were aired on Saturday. Beautiful locations good acting, beautifully filmed. I shall watch the rest of the series. I am intrigued, I came across the 1864 war during my researches last year into the Franco - Prussian War. The 1864 war is not something I know a lot about so I am expecting to be informed as well as entertained.
I've recorded it so I'd be interested to know what you think.
