Flu stopped play ( but not work)
Came down with flu earlier this week and have been dragging myself into work. No energy left for the hobby but hope to catch up with your blogs later this weekend...
STOP where you are, sir. Do not follow my path and end up with pneumonia (for which I have had to cancel games) . . . because recovering from flu is far better than from "the old man's friend". Follow your medical advice and get better soon!
Alan, Hi, sorry I'm late to this little party. If you have flu then please take as much sick leave as you possibly can. Being a 'hero' and continuing to work is not the best course of action for you. Please tell your line manager as such first thing Monday morning, he or she will have a contingency plan for such a situation.
I agree, take the time off work. You'll do yourself a huge favour by doing so. Flu can easily turn into something much nastier, especially in winter. I hope you feel better soon!
Stout fellow... hope you are feeling better soon, and can spend some time painting or whatever.
ReplyDeleteHope your feeling better soon , Tony
ReplyDeleteBeen there before myself.
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon! In the meantime, take care.
Keep soldering on Alan- hope the flu does not last long. KEV.
