Charming air support. We are struggling with the same slug and snail (and possibly squirrel) damage issues without using slug pellets. Some promising seedlings and full plugs have been wiped out. Coffee grounds around plants. Using Copper tape etc. around raised beds and containers and a pond full of tadpole froglets for next year's slug patrol - maybe get the trays off the ground to make it harder for slugs and snails to reach?
I have never tried copper tape but have used coffee grounds and crushed egg shells. I planted some nasturtiums in a pot and overnight they had been dug up and some eaten, intriguing. Large pigeons have also accounted for some plants at an early stage too. We battle on...
Lots of progress on the houses I see. Is the aeroplane a paper model? It's very nice. I've tried putting saucers of beer out to catch the slugs - I stopped though as was kept awake by rowdy slugs, singing and getting into fights below the bedroom window.
The aeroplane is a paper model stuck onto card and printed at home. It is by Fiddlers Green who do lots of cool stuff and are well worth a look- planes, vehicles, tanks , buildings and more...
