Found whilst exploring under the eaves this morning.
Looking for something ( unsuccessfully) today and I came across this catalogue. I have some of his cards etc somewhere but can’t seem to find them. Anyway enjoy the whimsy of Peter Barnfield-
Ah, a worthy successor to Rowland Emmett and a new name to me. Thank you! https://sidetracked2017blog.wordpress.com/2020/05/29/rowland-emett-railway-films-on-youtube/
Great find. I have a selection of his cards, and some of his drawings culled from the old A.W.N.U.T.S. magazine. He also made some models of various locos in his drawings.
Didn’t know he was a model maker, tell us more. AWNUTS there was a railway magazine. Sadly dumped mine when downsizing in the mid 80s, wish they were available online etc.
Lovely drawings. I'm always impressed by people who can draw like that. I had a friend in the army who could whip up cartoons in minutes. Cheers Greg
ReplyDeleteMe too. Two of my daughters can draw well and I am in awe of their talent.
