We went uptown for a coffee and a wee look in the Charity Shops- something I had not done since March. Bought a couple of books, the girls bought some clothes and I came home via WH Smith hence the magazine. I buy very few glossies but this looked interesting .
Afternoon saw us preparing and sorting the glass recycling and carrying some to the bottle bank.
Toy Soldier Collector is the only mag I subscribe to nowadays .
ReplyDeleteI don’t subscribe to any of the glossy hobby ones re wargaming but do for garden railways. Years ago I got a random copy uptown and found it very diverting and relaxing to read. Have read on and off since.
DeleteToy Soldiers of Scandinavia. That’s right up your ‘gate’ Tradgardmastare.
ReplyDeleteSo true!
DeleteGreat choices of reading. An interesting magazine issue ...
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to reading it quietly in a few days time.
DeleteSounds like a nice day.
ReplyDeleteIt was good but don’t really feel comfortable in lots of shops I’ll be honest.
DeleteHi Alan- getting out for coffee at a Cafe is a bonus in these times - it is 'My Day Out'. Interesting books and magazine- we use to be able to buy the Toy Soldier magazine here - though I haven't seen one at the News Agency for ages. All the best. KEV.
ReplyDeleteGood to get out for a coffee but not entirely comfortable with it yet I’m afraid.
