ReplyDeleteNice fish!
Suzanne Vega - I claim my Geek points!
ReplyDeleteInteresting set of figures - bucca in Cornish is fluid and varied - a spirit or 'ghost', bucca duh being darker spirits.
DeleteI used to live in a inland Cornish area called Chybucca or house of spirits, now mostly remembered as a treacherous road junction https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucca_(mythological_creature)
Great geek points and interesting folkloric comments.
Delete.... but you may have seen me before.
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten how much I used to listen to Suzanne Vega... I'll be heading to listen to those first 2 albums again in a minute. Had a game of the Woods this afternoon with Geoff and Harry. Leprechauns, Bucca and Fae. Once again the tricksy Chauns won by doing next to nothing.
ReplyDeleteI used to listen too. Sounds a fun game and employment of your favourite stratagem!
