Woodland walking
I haven’t been up the woods for ages , sort of got out of the habit. So l went up there today and explored another part of them. I was taken with the information boards and felt they would certainly add to the experience of walkers. Some pictures:
I heard an article on R4 a while back about it. It’s a important means of retaining water on moors (this particular item was about the moors near Oldham). I can’t remember the details but it has a dramatic impact on CO2.
