My plans changed yesterday and I went uptown instead. A trip to The Works found some paint needed for some snowy bases and these trees which I will use in my 54mm games. I have seen them used to great effect on Tony’s blog. Later on in the day I cleared a space on the painting table and as a change worked on these semi flats. I have had them for ages so it was about time to move them forward a little. I managed to find a replacement arm , my last in the spares box. The figures will be used in some interwar gaming as additions to my Austrian army.
The replacement arm woks well on the cavalryman
ReplyDeleteThanks, l am pleased with the result.
DeleteVery nice figures. Those trees should look very effective with the semi-flat figures. (Do you see them as semi-flat or semi-round?)
ReplyDeleteThanks, l see them as semi flats for some reason.
DeleteToday l followed your Morningside architecture route (adding a couple of others) as currently spending a few days in Edinburgh. Very interesting. Thanks for the inspiration.
ReplyDeleteExcellent to hear, hope you are enjoying Edinburgh.
DeleteI like those semi flat cavalry, they are very nice figures.
ReplyDeleteOld fellows, glad to give them a new lease of life.
Delete"(Do you see them as semi-flat or semi-round?)"
ReplyDeleteIs that sort of like half full or half empty? ha ha
The trees look just the ticket.
Trees should serve really well l think.
DeleteI do like those trees. Might have to pop into our branch (haha) of The Works.
ReplyDeleteWill you leave (haha) work early ?
