Day out
Enjoyable day out with family today. It was great fun.
Interesting - I did visit Stirling, about 30 years ago! I seem to remember maybe some nice 16th/17th century painted woodwork and ceilings, but that's about all! Will have to try to make it back there sometime..
Remind me, whose museum is at Stirling Castle - Black Watch, Argyles or someone else? I know its not the Gordons (Aberdeen) or the Queens Own (Fort George) - been there, done that - even got a Glengary from the Gordons museum about 20 years ago!
Nice :)
ReplyDeleteIt certainly was.
DeleteAll very intriguing - but where exactly?
ReplyDeleteStirling Castle. Has a terrific regimental museum in it too.

DeleteI am wondering the same thing as David......
ReplyDeleteNext time I shall not omit important details such as where. Probably me attempting and failing miserably to be arty.
