Forgotten sons in the shed
Looking for something in the shed and I came across these figures-
World War One German infantry and French Chasseurs d’Alpin. Charming flats/zinnfiguren bought on EBay and forgotten about. They will make a nice wee portable Wargame game.
Fine Chasseurs with their mountain walking sticks and berets - I think I spotted a few berets amongst the French troops in Narvik 1940 film on Netflix that you mentioned.
I am big fan of mountain troop figures especially with walking sticks and large rucksacks. There are some wonderful photos of such troops training in the mountains around. Alan Tradgardland P.S you are correct re Narvik.
My thoughts exactly. I was searching for some figures to pass on to someone and was amazed what other things I came across. I put things carefully into boxes last summer but labelled nothing in my haste. Another sorting out is on the cards for summer with much more careful note to be taken. Alan Tradgardland

Rediscovering figures is as fun as when you first got them especially if you now have a specific project to use them for.
