I went with friends to the Falkirk show yesterday. The sun was shining and I enjoyed the bus ride through and wee walk to the show once in Falkirk. It was good to see old friends and catch up with them. I had some interesting chats with folk putting on games as well as the sadly usual experience of taking an interest in a game, standing there and being completely ignored.
I enjoyed talking to some folk putting on a WOTR battle who were very chatty , interesting and interested too. Only one purchase was made - four small canoes and two large canoes , with crews, in 28mm for only a tenner! Delighted with my bargain.
Back to a friend’s for lunch then a train ride home in time for the Virtual Wargames Club. A grand day out.
A good day indeed.
