I have been a tad up and down of late and have advanced my projects very little. I have been enjoying BBC tv's "Parade's End" on dvd and have kept faith with "The Last Kingdom" on tv too.I have enjoyed reading some model railway magazines too. I had great fun gluing and sticking with GW Empire bits and other odds and ends to begin to create a Frostgrave warband-
Absorbing and distracting inspite of prising superglued fingers apart...
Frostgrave warband looks promising. Can't get on with The Last Kingdom, but finding Vikings quite absorbing (if bloody).
ReplyDeleteChin up Alan- I to have days that drift by without achieving much- then all of a sudden ( like a magic wand) - it all comes together and I'm on my way. Best Wishes. KEV.
ReplyDeleteTradgardmastare,
ReplyDeleteIt is hardly surprising that you are a bit up and down at the moment, and the fact that you are at least trying to do something shows great fortitude on your part. Keep trying, and if I can mis-quote the line from FIELD OF DREAMS, 'keep trying, and it will come'.
All the best,
Bob
Its a cliche but true, these things take time. Puttering a bit at anything is a good distraction, lots of people seem to be enjoying Frostgrave.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking without much direct experience, I do agree with Bob and Ross and Kev. My own efforts in the hobby realm are kind of meagre these days (but more due to being so busy with work I don't feel like doing much when I'm home after work). But pottering around, doing a little here and there, is fine.
