OS ECW
Set up a wee game-
It is on a former planting bench from Aldi ( 38 x 19 inches) residing indoors. Here are the respective forces - Royalists defend the village with cavalry, dragoons and hastily raised villagers.
Thanks, I am using Ross Macfarlanes one page rules which can be sought out on his excellent Battle game of the month blog . They give a most enjoyable game.
Nice looking little game - some classic figures there !
ReplyDeleteYou can't go wrong with classic figures- nostalgia meets toy soldiers meets pared down simplicity in a game.
DeleteNice to see some Mini Figs in battle, well done.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
DeleteLovely... Airfix cottage and a classic backdrop finish the scene off.
ReplyDeleteBackdrop encloses the imaginary world and it wouldn't be 17th century England without an Airfix cottage.
DeleteLooks splendid - will they hold the ford?
ReplyDeleteWill they indeed, hopefully playing the game today. I enjoy looking at it and contemplating moves.
DeleteLooks great. I have a soft spot for Minifigs ECW. So nice to see a compact, but lovely looking game. Are you using your own rules?
ReplyDeleteThanks and finding your one page rules absolutely ideal.
