excellent link - the article was fascinating and it was the Hull MP Mark Sykes who caught my eye. Many years ago I visited Sledmere House in the Yorkshire Wolds and there were big cabinets of 54mm lead soldiers of the empire. I don't recall them being referenced to the Little Wars story but obviously someone in the familiy liked them or maybe they were his collection. Thanks.
