I’ve been away for an overnighter in my local hospital. That old friend urinary retention came back to visit. As ever the nurses, auxiliaries, doctors and consultants were excellent. I got out late morning and am glad to be home for a rest.
Incidentally here are a couple of photos I took before l went away-
Tradgardmastare,
ReplyDeleteGlad to read that they managed to sort your medical problem.
I love the look of these figures, and if I hadn’t invested quite so much time and effort in my Belle Époque project, I would have bought several armies.
All the best,
Bob
Good to hear that you are out of hospital and resting. Get well soon. Time to contemplate the good looking figures on the “tray /tres bien”.

ReplyDeleteNice to hear/ read something positive about the NHS! Pleased it was a simple overnight visit without any complications, and that normal waterworks services have now resumed.

ReplyDeleteI wish you a speedy recovery. Have a nice weekend! Karl
ReplyDeletePleased that the NHS fixed up the"Tap tuns on the water..." The NHS is the greatest thing ever invented in the UK and it struggles but keeps on saving and improving our lives despite 13 years of deliberate under-funding. Take care.
ReplyDeleteNot great fun being in Hospital- glad the Staff made you comfortable- glad your Home.
ReplyDeleteAnd where did you get the ace looking hex grid cloth/mat?
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words one and all, most appreciated!
