Out and about plus a mystery

I’ve been out and about these last couple of days. Yesterday l travelled to Glasgow to meet my first born for lunch on her birthday. En route to the Single End.  https://thesingl-end.co.uk/ she pointed these out to me-

I do like a good mural and these were some of the best I had seen in ages.

This morning l took a spur of the moment trip to Stirling. A wee wander about ensued including a visit to the excellent Oxfam bookshop. I also saw this fascinating building. Can anyone explain the symbols and text on it-

  1. I love the murals. Could those emblems be Masonic?

    1. I am really well placed to visit these and more. When combined with a free bus travel card it is a win , win situation!

    1. Indeed. I am very partial to them.
Reminds me of Coronation Street where Hilda Ogden was partial to the Muriel she had on the wall of her sitting room😂 which was a wall sized photo of a forest.
