The station is being inspected to see if it is wind and water tight as the rains are coming…
Enjoying thinking his own thoughts whilst waiting for a train…It is a constant task to keep the lush foliage from engulfing the line . Here we see a gang of men ready to remove the invasive leaves and keep the line open…
Lovely pictures Alan - I suspect two trains will come along at once...
ReplyDeleteWrong kind of leaves on the track?☺

I'm really enjoying all your series with this kind of pics. They are so lovely and refreshing. That train line needed the works indeed!
ReplyDeleteKeeping the growth off the tracks just like a real railway.
ReplyDeleteI spray weedkiller on my trackbed about once every two weeks and chop back any overhanging plant growth .
Hi Alan - what a charming project. Zen! I'll go go back and read through your account of it. I replied to your message on my blog with a question. I'll repeat it here : I am taking requests for the next regiment to parade : Infantry, Cavalry, Guns or Enemy? Best, Jim
