China in your hand 1

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity at the turn of the year to acquire a collection of 54mm toy soldiers depicting the Chinese of 1900. It comprises many conversions and other unique items. After some  thought I decided this was an opportunity I couldn’t miss. The first two packages arrived today, excellently packed by their former owner B.P and a credit to his modelling skills. Eventually the collection will number around 270 figures once the rest arrive. So without further ado here are the photos

I , needless to say, am delighted with the. They will be used with “Big Wars” , “The Portable Colonial Wargame” and “”Funny Little Wars” amongst other things.

  1. They look great! I wondered if someone would buy them when they were mentioned on the forum. I was tempted but have far too many other projects on the go.

I am intending to try and get through the year without buying any figures for new projects.

So I will only buy figures needed to complete/add to existing collections..

We'll see how long that lasts!

    1. I am trying to do that too Mike. In fact I am trying to work mainly on what I have already. This collection was too good to miss out on however.

  11. Very lovely! Siege of a Legation game? Now you need a figure for Sir Claude McDonald/David Niven!
