Bella and Donna

The underside of Bella the motorised wagon.
Internal gubbins of the same motorised wagon.
Inside of the second wagon, Donna, mistakenly l had thought it to be motorised too.
Back to the motor inside Bella .
Bella and Donna with a PLR figure for scale.
Wagons outside the station causing much interest with the locals.

Bella on the left and Donna upon the right.
Pleased with my purchase but a little disappointed l had got the wrong end of the stick. But all in all useful additions to the Penedredfel Light Railway

  1. Nice addition for your railway. Looks like the second one was setup as possibly a brake van, with the wiring to power an LED in lamp.

    1. Meaning l wrongly read the description and thought both wagons were motorised in terms of being like wee trains moving under their own power.

  5. Looking at your previous post on buying the pair I would certainly have expected both to be powered. The non-powered one does appear to be a brake van but if you're after a chassis this might fit:

I think I sent you (hopefully it was you!) some surplus wagons so you could sandwhich them between loco and brake van for a nice little train.

    1. Wagons you sent waiting and ready to roll this summer or even now. A very positive suggestion, thanks for it.

  6. Lovely!
I really like this little train. Is Bella powered by a 9v battery? If so, is it a 9v motor as well?
Showing the inside had great value for me as I'm planning a kind of small motor draisine. -when I'm done with a bunch of other modelling projects. Nice figure too!
