Not sure - but didn't Henry run a series of articles in Miniature Wargames written by the son of a guy who started a wargame club in Germany just after the war??? Could that be them?
They are a group of toy collectors from Germany. I contacted them through their website and got a very friendly response. The game they play on the pictures is called "Jung-Deutschlands Schlachtenspiel" and was produced by the toy company Hausser in 1920.
Karl, thanks for your helpful reply. I emailed them twice some time ago in English and heard nothing.I have looked up the game and am most intrigued. Alan
