Maddy Prior and The Carnival Band - God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen
For some reason I can't get the tune of Perry Como's 'Christmas Dream' out of my head this year. It was specially written for the film, 'The Odessa File' and has a very Germanic feel to it which - when heard song by Perry Como - gives it a real flavour of the time in which the film was set.
Good stuff.... we saw them a few years ago, and have their Christmas CD. Maddy Prior is an all round excellent person.
