French Indian Wars

Today we came to the end of a sequence of nine games to try out Muskets and Tomahawks. Different combinations of troop types were used and much fun had. Still can’t quite get the rules into my head. This is a crucial point in today’s game-
British Regulars about to meet their fate at the hands of the enemy...

    Alan, I must confess than when I played a few games of M & T some years back with Alastair they didn't really click with me. Mike and I will be using Rebels and Patriots for AWI/FIW.

      I haven’t tried R and P yet but will certainly give them a whirl. There is a 2A4 sheets of paper rules for awi that l really must try. I got them out of a wargames magazine years ago.

      Would those be the 'Loose Files and American Scramble' rules by Andy Callan? If so then they have a very good reputation for period feel and playability.
