Travelling to Borsetshire.
By train and by bicycle the Albion troops are making their way to the Annual Manoeuvres and Camp in the beautiful countryside.
It was an eBay purchase for a very reasonable price. I got it originally to go with my 45mm semi flat passenger figures but in a moment of madness /insight I tried it with the 54mm figures. The station is Hornby and prewar.

Stylish. Fascinating cycling history accounts, including the use of ‘horse-holders’ dragoon or dismounted cavalry style. It links well with the bicycle Scouts Manual that you found as well. The “coming technology” of their day ... If someone had not invented motorbikes, they may have been even more widespread.

I think this will be an excellent background for the 45mm flats, once painted.
