  2. Fantastic finds, thank you for posting. Interestingly in 1939 the only truly fully mechanized army was ....The British. There were a few cavalry units still where terrain demanded.

  3. I must admit, generates are actually rather good. Tanky wargamers tend to favour Sherman's T34s, Tigers etc. but the films, although staged, demonstrate the practicality of lighter armour.
