Coming soon Ostmerk mountain troops
I had an email from North Star saying that wave three had been dispatched so I thought I had better get thinking about Ostmerk uniforms for mountain troops-
Might just be me, but something about the pose and appearance of the 2 minis reminds me of the Tintin comics. Like some guards/soldiers he and Captain Haddock might deal with in some fashion.
Hurrah! I was out yesterday and the postman arrived with a parcel. I need to pick it up today. Might be my reinforcements, fingers crossed. Alan Tradgardland

Your inspirational pics look like a good choice for your Gebergstruppen, Alan.

I think these are my favourites so far! Both the models and the pictures. They just sing Mitteleuropa to me.

I agree. Really looking forward to seeing the mountain troops on the table top.

Given your many musical references I can't resist (ok, I haven't tried very hard): "they'll be coming round the mountain when they come..."
