1790 Tradgardland dragoons, dismounted service
Based the first of the Tradgardland troops this evening-
David’s excellent flag showing the tennis racquets and balls made by the guild’s men in this unit. Below is the illustration which provided inspiration for the regimental tailors to copy-
Nothing beckhamite here but merely an artistic representation of the hand sewn tennis balls that graced the courts of eighteenth century Europa. Much sought after by Kings, Princes and those who sought out the finest work. Alan Tradgardland
