Mark’s Little Soldiers- countries & uniforms
Are you going with Mark’s countries and uniforms or creating your own?
They'll be fictioinal, I think it suits the whole toy soldier approach. I've yet to finally decide but I'm leaning towards Freedonia and Sylvania because Duck Soup is such a great film. For anyone wanting inspiration, Wikipedia has a list of ficitional countries from lots of genres. For my 42mm circa 1900 setting I came up with Arcadia (British uniforms) and Franconia (French, what else).
Dear Alan I just wanted to say thank you I have been following your blog and in particular the MLS project. It’s inspired me to do my own project with Shiny toy soldiers and imagi-nations. I am new to the hobby. Greetings from far away Melbourne Australia. Glory to Ruritania Quinn : )
I'll probably create my own, with a nod to the Spanish Civil War.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to following this.

ReplyDeleteMy 1900 Britain is named Albion. The Wikipedia site sounds useful. I look forward to seeing what you come up with regarding MLS.
