Here’s my current reading-
Haven’t read fiction for ages but was caught up in this. I saw it in a local bookshop and picked it up and was drawn in. Great read, easy read but terrific fun. The other book was a birthday present from one of my daughters. Just started it and am really enjoying its insights into urban wildlife. Finally couldn’t resist the book below at 80% off. Had a wee look as it arrived yesterday and l am pleased to have bought it.
What are you reading that you would recommend?
An interesting selection. I'm just starting Revenge of Rome by Simon Sparrow....not sure how much longer he can keep the series going, but the last couple were quite good. Also a biography of John Smith of Pocahontas fame, which is absolutely fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI am currently battling my way through 855 pages of Vasily Grossmans " Life and Fate"...I have had it three weeks and am only on page 266! I need another week on Rarotonga to smash it out! It's a good enough read, its just that I only have 30 minutes or so at the end of the day to devote to reading it!
ReplyDeleteCrikey, you don’t do things by half’s Keith.

Last week whilst on holiday I read 2 of the Captain Alatriste books by Arturo Perez-Reverte (in English translation). Very easy reads, but not trashy. Got another one to read then might order some more.
