The little remembered Danish invasion of 1898...

The invaders have been sighted!
Defence is organised  at Hook's Farm.
Here come the Danish Lifeguard...
Plucky resistance sees the Danes defeated!
An enjoyable skirmish using both lead and plastic 54mm figures.

  1. Splendid action. Love the haystack (or is it a disguised tank?)

  2. Tradgardnastare,

Sounds like a very interesting battle in a little-known war. Hopefully there will be more to follow.

    All the best,

  3. Wonderful photos. Looks like a great game. I'm SO tempted by 54mm (or perhaps 42mm) but it's rather expensive (sigh)

    1. Whilst the old or new metal is expensive (ditto sigh) there is always homecast, EBay plastics or lead repairs - and Pound store conversions. https://poundstoreplasticwarriors.wordpress.com/2017/11/10/pound-store-42mm-infantry-army-red-army-blue/
