I gather in a sad state, shame as the office buildings are a lovely example of architecture of the time.Think efforts to preserve them are being made. Here in Bedfordshire we have lost many interesting and valuable buildings over the years.
An interesting bit of heritage - is anything still happening there or is it completely empty?

DeleteI always used to read every bit of print on cereal packets as a kid, used to wonder about the mythical garden city of Welwyn.
ReplyDeleteNow you have seen it. Actually Welwyn Garden City is well worth a visit, a place to wander about in. Very interesting buildings and houses.
