  2. What a little delight! This is the kind of thing Imagi-Nation gaming excels at doing - small battles, clean tables, and mechanisms thatbring decision points quickly. Do you have your rules posted somewhere?

    1. Thanks CC.I agree re Imagination games...
My rules are really in my head ,such as they are. Many moons ago Fitzbadger did a post called "We don't need no stinkin rules" which inflluenced me greatly. In this game I used the dice/stick for inf and artillery firing, ind dicing for lght inf figs firing, dice with a few plus/minus for melee ,highest thro kills with paired off figures,a saving throw for those in cover and at 50% killed a unit takes a dice throw and if they lose they rout.Simple but fun, illuminated by common sense at times:)
Liberating and not costing £30 for glossy rules that over complicate, bore and ultimately are merely eye candy- head down before the flak......

  3. Dratted Bordurians - they learn slowly but are tough! Perhaps the best way to get rid of them is to steal their pay chest...

I had much fun reading about the action, Alan. Thanks!

    1. How are your gaming plans going or is real life taking over?

    2. I'm up to my eyeballs still, Alan. Doctoral defenses, marking marking marking, deadlines like autumn leaves . I'm hoping that the greyish glow ahead is the mythical light at the end of the tunnel.
