Indeed Bob! They are not his rules as Karl posted as a comment on my earlier post-
ReplyDeleteThey are a group of toy collectors from Germany. I contacted them through their website and got a very friendly response. The game they play on the pictures is called "Jung-Deutschlands Schlachtenspiel" and was produced by the toy company Hausser in 1920.
