It was thirty years ago today...
Today I was married thirty years ago. I am remembering the happy times, such as the trip to Copenhagen below, the sad times and all the others in between. Jan was a wonderful wife who is dearly missed.
A handsome couple and a fine city skyline! Anniversaries are often difficult esp. in Lockdown - A day to focus on the good memories, the travels and journeys and the positives. Many best wishes. May the tiny men distract you today ...
After we are gone, I guess we live on in the memories of others - so you are keeping your lovely Jan alive. Indeed, remember the good times, keep yourself well, and keep up this great blog. I assume she was tolerant of your (mildly) eccentric hobby?!
I hope that you manage to get through today, concentrating on all the good times you had whilst you were married to Jan. from what I’ve read about her, she sounds as if she was a wonderful wife and soulmate.
Sorry she is no longer with you. I know how much I would miss Sandra, my wife. For us, it's 43 years on the 4th February.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to have those memories. Yes, even the sad times.
ReplyDeleteRegards and thanks for sharing with us.
You must always remember the times you enjoyed together. With that, she will always be with you.
ReplyDeleteIts good to remember while you go forward. I like to think we're not completely gone while we are remembered.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what to add to the above other than to send you my best wishes.
