After the ice

In the country halt on the embryonic garden railway the weather testers ( figures painted and varnish spending winter outdoors to see how it affects them) are glad the snow has receded. Time for them to share a pipe smoke or two, drink strong tea and catch up with each other...

  1. Lovely pictures, Alan. But I must be getting old as the novelty of the snow wore off quite quickly this time.
By the way, I’ve left you a message on the F &D site.

  6. Blogger can be fun. You try to upload pictures in batches in the upload from the computer menu and it hangs as one refuses to load... When you've sorted that out and you try to upload them onto the blog itself they appear on the blog in random order... great fun.

Re snow, after a childhood of climbing out of windows to get out of the house and walking to school over the tops of trees snow is not something look forward to. My wife, on the other hand, loves the stuff.
