Brief encounter in Lurland
Set up a Lurland game . Light troops in encounter skirmish in the vicinity of a Temple. Rules used will be Featherstone Close Wars but distances in centimetres to reflect small battlefield.
Thanks. I was quite chuffed at how the temple turned out. It hadn’t been on the table for ages and definitely deserved an outing. It is made of card and some odds and ends.
I love seeing the flats arrayed for battle, they look amazing. It has a very neolithic feel to it (except for the temple), like that archaeological site in Germany by that river crossing (Tollense) where they found massive evidence of a bronze age battle.
Nice looking little game - I do like the Temple .
