In the evening a small figure with a red hat comes unseen into the Hall. He hopes that they have remembered to put out porridge, with a little butter, for him. He looks around , finds nothing and plots revenge on the Big People. Ha , he thinks , I have a plan…
I like the scenery and the little red hat person. I hope it's just a little mischievous and not really evil.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter drew the backdrop last Christmas and the roaring fire was a Christmas decoration bought a few years ago in a sale with it’s hook and ribbon removed. Moment I saw it I knew it would work with 54mm figures.
DeleteEgad! The suspense!!
ReplyDeleteCalm sir, I implore you!
DeleteSuspense indeed. Splendid backdrops!
ReplyDeleteWhat does Mr. Brunel think? Will he outwit and set a humane / g-noman-e trap for the small redcap?
Brunel impersonating is a popular conceit at Christmas in Albion. Groups of individuals roam the streets in such attire planning engineering projects, singing carols and collecting for the poor. A cigar is an essential prop.
DeleteNice Panelled Room effect. Is that I K Brunel in the big hat?
ReplyDeleteThanks. Sadly, no, only yet another impersonator, probably officer of engineers in full costume.
DeleteNothing like a roaring fire to warm the spotup !
ReplyDeleteSo true. I wish I had bought a wood burner this year for hear. Sadly our fire place is no more.
DeleteLooking nice and festive... revenge...taking all the berries off the mistletoe?... invisible holly taped to the toilet seat?... decisions, decisions...
ReplyDeleteHave you thought of offering yourself as a consultant in revels to house spirits perchance?
DeleteThought about it, but it meant having to work during the holidays.
DeleteThese posts are a real joy, super stuff!!
ReplyDeleteVery festive Alan with a great deal of suspense! I look forward to the next tomten post! They have been very enjoyable!
ReplyDeleteI am pleased you are enjoying them!
