The Chinese figures came with no artillery. I decided to remedy this by firstly painting up a large old fashioned gun and secondly by scratch building from bits n bobs a jingall. The resultant jingall is a tad over sized but will serve on the battlefield. Here are photos of work in progress and also finished items.
The jingall is a nice piece of DIY
ReplyDeleteThanks, enjoyable bodging.
DeleteNice job on the jingall
ReplyDeleteThanks, scrap modelling is fun.
DeleteI had to Google Jingal - that one looks like it could make an elephant wince! A nice model, as is the cannon. They work very well with those lovely figures.
ReplyDeleteI think they are all a most useful addition to my Chinese. I am half way through painting a second cannon and I might do another Jingal if I can find another mini kebab stick in the garage.
DeleteVery smart gun and crew and a clever conversion .
ReplyDeleteThanks, l am pleased with the results.
DeleteLooking perfect to me.
