Base fellows

After a little tidying I decided to rebase all the French Indian wars figures onto individual bases. They used to be in twos, threes and ones. Started to texture the bases with Vallejo Earth texture, good enough for me…

  1. I always think single bases are much more useful .

  2. Hi Alan, I found out how to rectify the problem on a Mac. Don't know if that's any good. I'm not sure I'm comfortable with the resolution though because it removes an element of privacy protection. I'll mention it in an update on my last blogpost.

  3. For FIW gaming I think single basing works well, I usually have units in groups of four but for FIW I will also go for single basing.

  4. Oh HO! You didn't show me any of THESE figures.... Very nice. I can see why Ronnie is scared of sending his Redcoats to North America now... I prefer single figure mounting for all my FIW troops. I just use movement stands for "units".

  5. Single basing for forest games and Close Wars type skirmish - and movement trays for bigger battles - seems a good solution that you have found. Mark Man of TIN
