Scenery
Got some mdf bases a while back. Currently adding trees and stones to them plus snow. Elk ( 28mm ) included for scale.
Looks good! I've also recently done som winter-basing; I painted the base of some soldiers for winter warfare, and I used some snow-paint I found in the craft shop, which was the same snow-paint I used on a small H0e-layout I made for Christmas. But we still have real snow outside, so I consider to bring the figures outside for wargaming...
You can see a small glimes of them in the 'February workbench update', but more will follow in the blog on them. I used this paint a lot for the 'Christmas Pizza' and on Day 5 you can see an actual photo of the paint. It's not a modelling product, but something you can buy in the craft shop for making Christmas decorations etc. https://modelrailsandwargames.blogspot.com/2023/12/making-small-h0eh0n30-layout-in-just-6.html
Nicely done! I like what looks like ski tracks here and there.
ReplyDeleteThank you.

What do the bases with a single tree represent, a tree or a wood? Perhaps it depends on whether you are having a small skirmish or a battle.
ReplyDeleteStephen
They represent a wood or forest. Each base is an area of trees. Those with just stones are rough ground.
