Midwinter in the Duchy
Set out the permanent table this evening and am pleased with the look.
That does look inviting for a scenario or three. What do you have in mind and will you have chance for a game this week? You saw my table at the Virtual Wargame Club yesterday and I hope to at least finish the current Midgard game for St Nicholas' market. Then perhaps a return to Devilry Afoot. Stephen p.s. I like the moon on the background.
Lovely atmospheric snowy scene which says Happy Christmas. And so many folklore suggestions - who lives in the cottage? Is it an old Tradgardland wood cutter with a daughter? Are there bears or wolves in the forest? Etc etc. Do they have to supply the Tradgardland capital christmas or Yule tree?
Serene.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and wintery! Cool backdrop, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy solstice!

It certainly has a mid winter feel..." as the snow lay all about, thick and crisp and even..."!
ReplyDeleteThat looks REALY good Alan.

Indeed! The scene makes me want to don a pair of cross country skis and explore it and immediate environs more closely. Merry Christmas!

It does look good. Muted rather than whimsical 🙂 Lovely work & a Happy Christmas to you and yours.
