A scale comparison and a bargain

A few days ago I sent off for some 1/48 scale Dolls furniture to see if it worked with my 28mm figures. It was cheap-£ 1.90 for the furniture in the photo and some other wee bits and bobs.It is plastic. Here it is with a Front Rank chap for comparison-
The furniture is as straight from the pack.I am delighted with my purchases and would recommend them most highly. What do you think?

  1. I think the furniture looks fine with that gentleman. Seem to fit quite nicely as far as size goes.

  3. Looks just right, maybe a matt varnish to take away the plastic look? other than that good to go

  4. Yes Alan- quite a good find- at 1:48th the pieces are just right for 28mm - will be just the thing for Skirmish gaming.

  6. The 1/48th plastic furniture works well with 28mm figures - I have some. Also Petite Properties 1/48 furniture is very good - if you have patience to assemble it, a little fiddly to do (see https://www.petitepropertiesltd.com/furniture.html).

  7. It looks an excellent match. I hope to find a few gas lampposts in 1/48 for a project.

  8. That was a real find! With a coat of matte varnish it will be great.
Who's the producer of the stuff?
