28mm conversions metal and plastic

Working on dba 28mm Swedes today. Recently borrowed pliers worked really well removing army from my metal wargames Foundry figures-

The right arms were replaced with pieces from this handy Perry plastic set which also provided bows, crossbows and quivers which were attached with super glue
The resulting figures produced added a variety of poses to the army-

    1. Simple but effective and gets rid of lots of figures in the same pose. Same pose great for syw, Napoleonic etc but medieval calls for the opposite, in my view.

  2. Plastic kits are a great source of bits for conversions, head swaps, weapon swaps, etc.

  3. That looks like very fiddly work, nice result though.

  4. Less fiddly than you would think. I find it easier to twist the limb off with pliers then trim it rather than cutting through all that wire. The worst bit is the super gluing as I seem to get stuck to everything and anything.

  5. They're looking great - can we have a picture from the front too please?
