Swiss Army manoeuvres today.
Tried to play outdoors today but the grass was very damp and I was concerned about the mdf bases becoming soggy. Plan changed to brief manoeuvres instead-
A cheering sight. No early kinematiscope Newsreel cameraman to record this on jumpy moving pictures? Would some marine Varnish or some such on the underbase protect the mdf base for garden warfare?

Going to try 60mm square,3mm deep, see through acrylic as it means I don’t need to be concerned about the damp at all.
