Finished painting today...
Finished these 28mm Regency gentlemen and a dog today. They are 28mm Front Rank figures.
4 men and a dog, eh? (another sequel to Three Men and a Boat (to say nothing of the dog)? or maybe a prequel; was the 4th man lost on the first go round?) :) Nice painting!
Down goes a glove, out comes a swordstick ... https://poundstoreplasticwarriors.wordpress.com/2017/04/26/duelling-in-the-sandpit-lunge-cut-and-stop-thrust/
I fear not quite the heft. Perhaps this lies in the simpler nature of the fashion of the time lacking the heft that comes with full baroque panoply. The regency females awaiting painting are a very good example of this.

ReplyDeleteNice painting!
Thanks. Perhaps they are off to mow a meadow?
DeleteNicely done!
ReplyDeleteI suspect they'd best be ready to be targets for snowballs.
Hats like these are so tempting...
DeleteExcellent work sir!

ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteA lovely bit of painting. You've really brought out the character of these figures.
ReplyDeleteRonnie
They were a joy to paint compared to uniforms of the same period, far less fiddly.
DeleteDo these have the same "heft" that their WSS line does?
