No wargaming today but I enjoyed a couple of games with the family. Chess and Mind the Gap were fun to play but this was the main game this afternoon. Forbidden Island is a cooperative game where either we all win or all lose. Again the rules are easily learned but it can be very hard to win. We have had this game for some years now but it remains popular, one I would recommend to anyone.
Thank you for the suggestion! I have found this game on Amazon and added it to my list. The Grand Duchess is a big fan of board games, and I think she might enjoy this one (and the previously mention cycling game) for her birthday in May.

We find at least 6" of snow on the ground for cross-country skiing necessary. No snowfalls of that magnitude so far this season in our neck of the woods. Unusually so.
