    There is something increasingly attractive in the idea of crawling around playing with glossy toy soldiers in an imaginary world of one's own making. Must be getting old......or just more eccentric.

      So true. Are you going to take the imaginations toy soldier route in a practical manner? In other words paint up a few 54mm figures?

      It's so tempting. I promised myself that I would stick to 28mm 1740s stuff but painting 54mm "toys" instead of 28mm tartan might be very relaxing.

      Much more relaxing, a wee change and you can always go back to the tartan later. Shiny 54s are just what one needs in lockdown I think.
