Great semi flat War in Afrika.
Set up trial games this afternoon now much of the scenery is finished and the figures finished. Army Black v Army Red/Green.
The palms were a lucky find online and does add to that desired toy soldier feel. My forebears came here from German around 1900 and I like to imagine that these were the sorts of figures they new.
Looks wonderful, Alan! I love the job you've done on these figures.

Cheers Erik! Thanks for your encouraging words.
DeleteLooks interesting. I have been considering picking up the “Battle of Tanga, 1914” board game as a test of this theater.
ReplyDeleteSounds an interesting board game. A fascinating period/ theatre of war to game. A chance to fields some pretty unique units.
DeleteVery atmospheric!
ReplyDeleteThanks, a different backdrop would add even more but that will come...
DeleteLooks great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Alastair!
DeleteYour palms really fit the bill Alan, very well done. The figures are also excellent and give a real "toy soldier" feel!
